Spirituality in Health and Social Care Special Interest Group (SIG)

The INSS Spirituality in Health and Social Care Special Interest Group (SHSCSIG) offers an open and welcoming space for those working in health and social care to come together to explore to the study of spirituality and its application in practice.  As we develop, we will facilitate critical dialogue and shared learning about the ways spirituality shapes and is shaped by individual, organisational, and societal approaches to health, wellbeing, social care, and support. Anyone with an interest in spirituality in health and social care is welcome to join this SIG. If you are interested in contributing to a meeting, contact us via email. Examples of ways to contribute include sharing emerging ideas, research findings, theoretical developments, innovations in practice, lived experience, or critical explorations of policy and service provision. Through collaboration and knowledge exchange, the SHSCSIG seeks to advance understanding of spirituality as an important dimension of person-centred, compassionate, and holistic health and social care.
